Legal: VCRA Information etc

From the 1st October 2007, the laws regarding airsoft guns are changing. This is a brief summary of those changes:

If you are under 18 years of age it will be illegal for you to buy an airsoft gun (pistol, aeg, rifle or grenade launcher). This does not affect parts, accessories, shells,bb`s or gas. It will also be illegal for anyone to sell a gun to you whether you are a skirmisher or not.

Over 18`s will have to prove thet they are airsoft skirmishers. They can do this by taking out membership of an airsoft site which holds third party liability insurance. Dingodogs Airsoft Ltd will ask you when purchasing items covered under the vcr act that you place your membership number of your airsoft site and the contact details of your airsoft site within the order comments section when placing your order,we will then contact the relevant site to verify your information!!

We can also sell to re-enactors,film and theatre companies as long as there is proof of exemption from the vcr act.

If people are not registered and they are over 18 you will only be able to purchase 2 tone guns which must be 51% coloured within the vcr stipulation i`e red, green etc so they do not appear as replica firearms.

If you require more information please google vcr act 2007 to download pdfs,or call if you are unsure!
